Café Culturel

At the restaurant "Le Marquis", IFSAC 1 class has opened his cycle "Café culturel". For the fourth consecutive year, these meetings allow the students to become more confident in expressing themselves outside of the business school, through making speeches, developing arguments (debating) and widening their horizons (guest speakers).

Tuesday 24th October, Pierre SALLANABE, a farmer from the little town of Sainte Abit, gave a speech to the students about the agricultural world. After having aroused an interesting debate many different ideas emerged.

Tuesday 14th November, students have been invited to think about the action of the french family planning association. Marie Françoise BASSALER, active member of the family planning, told the students about the historical facts of the movement. After a brief resume, Mrs BASSALER recalled the main orientations of the planning : questions related to sexuality (the right to abort the pregancy, contraception, the seeking of sexuality spreaded diseases, etc.) but also, she informed the students about the place of the woman in the couple and in society ("you're not born as a woman, you become a woman").
