If you fancy organizing a big event, taking part
in some charity work, promoting gastronomy or even developing
your IT skills why not join one of the School’s associations?
More than 20 associations give students at the School the opportunity
to get involved in entrepreneurial projects, sport events, cultural
projects or humanitarian work. Associations add value to the ESC
PAU curriculum and help strengthen student relationships.
Associations project
 The
association network in a Management school is of utmost importance:
the students keep the school alive. At ESC PAU, work in associations
is in integral part of the educational project. It gives students
the opportunity to apply all the concepts of management they have
studied in class. Associations are run, managed and developed just
like real companies, with their players and their financing.
However, everyone is free. Free to be a member of one or several
associations. Free to create a new one to fully live out a passion
or to complete a personal project that is dear to them.
Being involved in an association is an important criterion that
recruiters look for. It is the proof of your collaborative know-how
and your ability to become involved in a project, to handle responsibility.
Students’ activities in their associations will be mentioned
on their diploma supplement.
Some concrete examples of projects
La Nuit Magnum des
PUBLIVORES
The « events » department of the AIESEC association
(an international student-run foundation) organizes “la Nuit
Magnum des PUBLIVORES” in Pau every year. showing 6 hours
of international, exotic and historic advertisements.
The
4L Trophy
The 4L Trophy is a 6000 km drive in Morocco, for humanitarian purposes.
For the 4L Trophy, 278 cars left from the “Stade de France”
on 19 February; that represented more than 500 students coming from
more than 110 higher education establishments including the ESC
schools.
Snow Cup
Organized each year by an association bearing the same name, the
Snow Cup brings ESC PAU students together in a ski resort in the
Pyrenees. The program is packed with competitions for the skilled
riders and all-night parties for the most motivated students.
Gala 2005
A prestigious, dream evening, the Gala is held in April and is the
opportunity for you to dress up and see the friends you see everyday
as you have never seen them before. Partners, professors, company
mangers, graduates and students come together to share a night of
celebration; it’s an unforgettable event. The Pau ESC Group
GALA has existed for 36 years.
The
student short film festival
For the first time, and exclusively in Pau, the 64Subway association
is creating the student short film festival.

Rugby French Cup
2004 was a year to remember for the Sports Association in ESC Pau:
the final of the Management Schools Rugby French Cup resulted in
ESC PAU becoming the title holder for the third year running.
Just a smile
Juste un Sourire (just a smile) is a humanitarian association whose
main mission is to organize an annual convey to Mali. |
