Admission and financing your studies

The ESCPAU examines the situations of the students whose financial resources are limited; From the moment when a student integrates the ESCPAU, it must be able to follow the courses, whatever its financial means.

admission

You are doing HEC preparatory classes
Enrolling in the 1st year. There are 110 places available through an entrance exam.

You have an undergraduate degree
You have an undergraduate (French or foreign equivalent) diploma (DEUG, BTS, DUT, 2nd year of IEP), you can take the PASSERELLE 1 entrance exam to get into the first year in the school. There are 90 places available through an entrance exam.

You have a degree
You have a (French or foreign equivalent) university degree (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, engineer, pharmacist, veterinarian surgeon…), you can take the PASSERELLE 2 entrance exam to get into the second year in the school. There are 40 places available through an entrance exam.

The Continuing Education Diploma Course
You are a salaried employee, with an undergraduate degree and you have at least 3 years of professional experience. 25 places are available.

financing your studies

1 - The deferred bank loan : The school partners grant loans to students at prime rates. The young graduates pay back their loans as soon as they get their first jobs (bank representatives present at the start of term).

2 - Higher education grants : The Ministry allocates a great number of grants based on university or social criteria. Grants can also be obtained from the department you were born in.

3 - Apprenticeship : Students are paid during the whole of their apprenticeship contract (24 months). A minimum threshold is set by the state : if you are over 21, 61 % of the SMIC (national minimum wage) in the 2nd year, 78 % in the 3rd.

4 - The Jacques Lambert Foundation : Helps young French nationals, who are particularly motivated but whose financial situation would prevent them from continuing their studies.

5 - Company placements : A 12 month placement is compulsory. The average salary goes from 305 Euros to 1 070 Euros per month. Some trainees manage to negotiate more. To do a placement abroad, you many benefit from FACE grants.
