Build your international skills to think and act in an international way

Today, companies demand that the international dimension be a natural frame of thought and action. It’s from this perspective that ESC Pau drew up its international program, which is developed over your years of study.

the bachelor program

As soon as you arrive, your language levels will be tested so that the different language lessons can be organized accordingly. For example, to assess your level in English, you will take the TOEIC test in the first week of term. The test result will determine your work schedule for the year.

Language classes represent a great workload. Each student will have 3 hours of English lessons a week and 3 hours of a second language. Personal work of up to 10 hours a week must be added to this.

AMERICAN CULTURE : A participative class based on exchanges on current affairs
NEGOCIATION CLASS : Class based on Anglo-Saxon recruitment procedures
GLOBE MANAGER : English class dealing with principles that differentiate cultures
INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING : basics of international accounting
GOVERNANCE : Company organisation abroad
INTERNATIONAL CULTURE : Globe Manager complementary courses
ECONOMIE INTERNATIONALE : panorama of the world economy

After spending 12 months at our school, the rest of the course will take place in a foreign company of your choice. The objective is for you to have a 6-month minimum professional experience abroad to validate the Bachelor program.

MSc program 1st year : inward mobility

At ESC PAU, the international dimension is experienced on a daily basis: Multi-cultural begins at Pau as it is omnipresent on the Campus.
Each year the School welcomes several groups of foreign students and professors for specific exchange programs lasting from 2 weeks to 3 months. In addition to these specific programs, several students coming from countries in South America, such as Brazil or Argentina, but also from Asia and Europe, join the ESC program, which they either do in part or in total.

MSc program 2nd year : outward mobility

The 2nd year MSc students have the choice between academic mobility to obtain a diploma, academic mobility without a diploma or professional mobility for 6 to 18 months.

Mobility to obtain a diploma
Depending on their academic results, each student can apply to do one year’s study in one of the following prestigious partner universities. A diploma is given at the end of this year.
• The Stockholm University MBA in Pau
• The Masters of DEUSTO Universidad San Sebastian
• The MAs of Nottingham University
• The prestigious MBA of UTA (Dallas)
• The MBZd of Ohio University (Ohio) and Ohio Manipal School (Bangalore, India)

Mobility without obtaining a diploma
Study abroad and validate your ESC PAU diploma through the acknowledgement agreements signed with the foreign universities.

Professional mobility
With the IBA program (International Business Apprenticeship) each student can spend at least 18 months abroad for a Large International Group in at least two different countries. Their mission will consist in identifying the most innovative practices in the field they have chosen, in each of these countries.

The international way

This experience can only be envisaged if you decide to take a year out after the 1st year of your MSc. You will have a professional activity abroad, in the country and company of your choice. You can apply to internship or job offers sent to ESC PAU, or do your own research. To make your living conditions abroad easier, grants are available (Leonardo da Vinci). In addition, it is possible to do your internship as an in-company international volunteer or using the “portage” system.
