The ESC PAU Media Center is a multifunctional
space, being at the same time a resource library as well as a
learning area.
The Media Center provides students, teachers, trainees and companies,
top-class working conditions and access to information
and Research. It offers 1100 m² of working
space and an electronic portal available from all computers connected
to the ESC PAU information network.
Covering all teaching topics and subjects taught at ESC PAU, the
Media Center has more than 16,000 books, 300 professional magazines,
research papers, …in all domains essential to companies nowadays.
It also offers a dedicated space for students looking for work
placements.
The team provides students with a training course
on how to use the Resource Centre data base and how to do research
on the internet.
The Media Center also offers a worldwide electronic library
where students and staff can access newspapers, international academic
magazines, financial and economic data of more than 7 million companies
in 38 European countries, market research studies, a digital library
comprising more than 5,000 French and international books…
From the Media Center, you can access to 11000 newspapers,
8600 international academic periodicals, 100 000 market studies,
reports and balance sheets of all European companies, balance sheets
and economic perspectives for all the countries in the world, memorandums
and summaries of the best academic works. This library is an advantage
that you should highlight when trying to obtain a placement or a
mission in a company. It is also a practical way to find out what
is going on in universities around the world, either
for simple information, or from the perspective of studying abroad. |
